The Forbes Marshall steam trap based paper drying system is suitable for low speed paper machines where the syphon tip remains dipped inside the condensate puddle and only condensate moves through the syphon. A proper trapping system can efficiently remove the condensate from all drying cylinders.

After the condensate is removed, flash steam gets generated from the condensate, which can be recovered to the paper machine dryers for optimum steam consumption in the drying process.
