FLASHJET™ Pump

FLASHJET™ Pump

The Forbes Marshall FlashJet™ Pump (FJP) is an innovative, award-winning integrated closed-loop system combining a pressure-powered condensate pump and a flash vessel to achieve 100% simultaneous recovery of flash steam and condensate.

In industries where steam is a key utility, up to 20% of the total energy from generated steam remains trapped in condensate and flash steam. Unlike conventional electrical pumps that vent valuable flash steam to the atmosphere (wasting 8-10% of available energy) and drop condensate temperatures to 55-75°C (131-167°F), the FlashJet™ Pump operates entirely on steam.

By separating flash steam via a gravity settling method and using a mechanical float mechanism to pump condensate, the FJP ensures that high-temperature condensate (+100°C / +212°F) is returned directly to the feed water tank. This zero-vent, zero-loss design eliminates cavitation risks, reduces fuel consumption, and maximizes the Condensate Recovery Factor (CRF) across process industries.

Variants

A compact variant designed for lower loads, handling 10 liters (3.962 gallons) per cycle with a 80NB (3″) inlet and 25NB (1″) outlet.
The standard industrial variant featuring a 100NB (4″) inlet and 50NB (2″) outlet, delivering 30 liters (7.925 gallons) per cycle.
A versatile mid-range unit with a 100NB (4″) inlet, an upgraded 80NB (3″) outlet, and a dedicated 50NB (2″) overflow connection, pumping 30 liters (7.925 gallons) per cycle.
A high-capacity variant offering a 100NB (4″) inlet and 80NB (3″) outlet, providing a steady 30 liters (7.925 gallons) per cycle.
The largest heavy-duty model with a 150NB (6″) inlet, engineered to handle massive condensate loads at 55 liters (14.529 gallons) per cycle.
